Founded in 1950, the Good Design Awards is the world's oldest and most important industrial design program organized annually by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies. Submitted products are judged based on various factors such as innovation, new technology, materials used, structure, concept, and functions.
